Giuseppe’s Cucina Italiana Restaurant Review: Giuseppe’s Cucina Italiana has been a lively favorite with locals and visitors alike since it opened more than 20 years ago, and it shows no signs of slowing down. The wood-fired oven is the centerpiece of the dining room, turning out thin-crust pizzas such as the spicy "diavola" with pepperoni. Dishes also include house-made spinach gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce, bucatini with meatballs, and melt-off-the-bone osso buco. Fresh wood-fired bread is served with every meal so it’s tough to save room for dessert, but do at least share one or two of the homemade seasonal sorbets. The wine list offers a good range of imports, but it has always supported local labels as well.
