THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Glass Dome Hickory Pit Restaurant Review:

A big, big rib place that’s over 40 years old, Glass Dome is at its busiest and loudest and craziest after a White Sox game, when fans from nearby Comiskey Park hold siege and lustily attack ribs or whatever else they crave after a day at the ballpark. This is another one of those secret-sauce places, but they’re serious about it here. And it really is something---tantalizing and slightly spicy-sweet, a stick-to-the-ribs sensation. Chicken, combos, shrimp and a few other rib-house requisites are also on the menu. We’re not enamored of the fries or the coleslaw, but the quality of the ribs makes up for that shortcoming.
