The Globe Restaurant Review:

The Globe is a hip outpost in somewhat conservative Coral Gables in a space with white walls, dark furniture and a shelf lined with vintage globes. Open since 1997, it’s good for a late-night bar bite such as seared ahi nachos or a Spanish chorizo and manchego quesadilla. Groups can graze on pan-seared pork pot stickers, chicken empanadas, and baked Brie drizzled in honey and served with toasts. House specialties include hand-tossed pizza, sweet potato ravioli, Newcastle Ale fish ‘n’ chips and grilled Argentine churrasco. Locals are lured in by the international wine list, offering about 20 selections by the glass. Live music is as diverse as the world's cultures, with alternative bands, ethnic rhythms and jazz ensembles, all drawing crowds.
