Gokul Sweets & Vegetarian Restaurant Restaurant Review

: The kitchen at this simple, spare restaurant has mastered the art of preparing tasty vegetable-based curries, South Indian dosas and thalis. A lovely light lunch is the pav bhaji, a specialty of Bombay that presents a mixed vegetable curry with finely diced onions on the side and a little extra hot sauce to kick it up a notch if you wish. Pav is a special Indian bread, and we like to make a sort of Sloppy Joe sandwich with the curry and the bread. If your sweet tooth sets in afterwards, a raft of baked goods tempts from nearby. For drinks, there's fruit-based milk shakes, juices and tea. A second location is at 763 Dekalb Industrial Way, Patel Plaza (lower level), Decatur, 404-299-2062.
