 Gold Strike Steakhouse Restaurant Review: Jean is the even-tinier-than-Stateline town between the California border hotels and Las Vegas, and unpretentious is its motto. This is the best place for a road break if you decide stopping en route to Las Vegas is in order. While there's no atmosphere and only rudimentary service, the beef is reliably tender. Among signature appetizers are the oysters Rockefeller and shrimp scampi. Save room for dessert. |
