Good Earth Restaurant Review: Better vegetarian fare can be found in the Twin Cities, but we appreciate Good Earth for cheerfully promoting healthy food without making us feel like we're eating our vegetables. Start with a fresh, fruity smoothie such as the Fiberry---it’s loaded with raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and wheat germ for keeping us young at heart. Baked on-site, the muffins, cookies and scones make this restaurant an essential stop whenever we're shopping at the Galleria and there’s a need for a sweet boost. Lunchtime is usually packed with people looking for a fresh alternative to the drive-thru. We like the almond-tuna salad or the natural bison burger when we’re in the health-minded lunch mode. Dinner can be easy and guilt-free; grilled salmon with mango salsa or homey turkey meatloaf are two of note. |
