Grecian Gyro Restaurant Review: Long-established (since 1982), this simple Greek joint is a haven for a tasty, prepared-to-order gyro to-go; you can, of course, also eat on the premises. We like the loukaniko, a sort of Greek hot dog, which owner-chef Nick Koulouris, a native of Kalamata, Greece, grills before laying it carefully in a warmed puffy pita bread and slathering it with his own tzatziki sauce, feta cheese and grilled onions, all added upon request. Salads, other kinds of gyros, and those sauce-bedecked Greek potatoes, the best alternative to fast food fries, all are top treats. Don’t expect fancy digs, but do expect some of the best gyros in the city.
