This full-service deli not only has matzo ball soup and all the requisite corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, but also an extensive menu of deli delights. Greenblatt’s features a notable and bargain-filled selection of wine, Champagne, Cognac, Armagnac (some dating to the 1800s), single-malt Scotch and grappa. Receive a 20 percent case discount, or plunk down a few dollars for a taste from the Cruvinet. This is the perfect place to dine before a screening at the Director's Guild down the street, and given its Hollywood credentials, there are plenty of choices for vegetarians despite its brisket-heavy heritage. Check out the food-filled cases on the main floor before seating yourself in the upstairs dining room.
