Upper Baltimore County rose for a standing ovation when the annex to downtown's fabulous Greg's Bagels opened up in Hereford. That's because these are the best bagels around, handcrafted with love and the bit of barley malt that brings such depth to the flavor. Greg's offers a terrific selection of smoked salmons to go with, as well as unusual combinations for sandwiches, like the wondrous tandoori-scented taste of India chicken salad with mango chutney. Stay for lunch, but don't forget a to-go bag of bagels for tomorrow.
