Appetizers can range from smoked duck and chicken quesadilla (combining marinated chicken, smoked duck, Monterey Jack cheese, tomato concasse, green onion, sun-dried tomato tortilla, red chili vinaigrette and jalapeno cream), to Chimmichum---butterflied filet mignon char-grilled with garlic-parsley-herb-olive oil and a Mediterranean salsa. The entrées are also creative, and big. Theres a 44-ounce, center cut filet mignon with a blue cheese demi-glace, and a more manageable garlic-and-sage roasted veal chop. Seafood options include peppercorn seared yellow fin tuna steak, served medium rare with a raw center, accompanied by Mandarin ginger teriyaki, sesame cilantro aïoli and pineapple-ginger steamed white rice. Theres also lobster, lamb and duck. Desserts vary but reflect the same creatively generous presentation.
