Groff’s Restaurant Restaurant Review: Visitors and locals have been dining at this no-frills, pull-up-a-chair-and-chow-down restaurant for many years. The fare is hearty with turkey dinners, meatloaf and pies. Soups are made daily from fresh ingredients, but most notable is the Groff’s crab chowder, rich and thick and fragrant. The children’s menu is vast with selections that range far beyond hot dogs and chicken fingers, and the senior meals are a bargain. Although there are a few desserts other than pies, you’d be a fool to leave without a bite of the glazed peach.
