| White tablecloth service in a casual, friendly setting is on the menu at the Grove Grill. Business execs meet up for drinks after hours, while couples and families stop in for dinner. The menu is consistent, with favorites that include low-country shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes with pepper jelly, steaks, and wood-grilled salmon. Of course, there is the beloved "Groveburger," a wood-grilled burger with the usual toppings. Vegetable sides are seasonal and often made with locally sourced produce. With flavors ranging from Key lime to pecan to buttermilk, the mini Mason Jar pies --- pie filling served in small Mason jars --- are among the most popular desserts. While the wine list isn't especially exciting, many selections are available by the glass and there’s a nice array of dessert wines. |
