The Grove Grill Restaurant Review: Business meetings take place alongside casual family dinners at The Grove Grill, a laid back eatery with an upscale aspect. There’s white tablecloth service and a selection of seafood and contemporary classics, but the restaurant somehow avoids feeling stuffy and pretentious. Chef Jeffrey Dunham’s reliable menu ranges from Southern cuisine, such as low country shrimp and grits and the pimento cheese and fried green tomato burger, to raw bar specialties like the chilled seafood sampler with oysters, shrimp and smoked salmon. Of course, don't forget the beloved Grove Burger, a wood-grilled number with the usual toppings. Vegetable sides are seasonal and often made with locally sourced produce. Try multiple desserts with the dessert sampler (Key lime pie, flourless chocolate cake, crème brûlée). While the wine list isn't especially exciting, many selections are available by the glass and there’s a nice array of dessert wines.
