Häagen-Dazs is one of several companies with ice cream stands scattered all over Manhattan. Astoundingly rich, the ice cream is very high in butterfat and calories, but the splurge is worth it. We've tasted no better vanilla, and with chocolate-covered almonds added, it becomes the enchanting Swiss almond vanilla. Add some frozen berries and you have strawberry. The coffee is a rich delight. If you can keep your vow to count calories once you walk in the door, order the soft-frozen, sugar-free yogurt.
