THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hama Hermosa Restaurant Review:

This high-style Japanese restaurant is an offshoot of Hama Venice which also runs a well-respected sushi academy. That said, sushi is not the only attraction here. The Hermosa branch is more adventurous than the parent restaurant, with a penchant for Asian reinterpretations of Tuscan cooking. Brick-flattened chicken with Oriental spices and an amazing scallop risotto are particularly successful items but everything we've tried here has been very good. The striking modern décor creates a dreamlike setting in which to have a fine meal---measured on cooking alone this may be the best restaurant in town.
