Hamura Saimin Stand Restaurant Review

: Hamura Saimin Stand is one of those good local eateries that's always crowded because it has hearty, satisfying food at low prices. It specializes in all different types of saimin --- that Japanese-Hawaiian meal-in-a-bowl of savory beef broth, lots of crinkled noodles, various vegetables, fish cake, pork, beef and slivers of Spam. The chicken and beef sticks (grilled meats on a skewer) are smoky and tasty. The setting is super casual, with folks eating side-by-side at long, freestanding counters. You won't want to miss the lilikoi chiffon pie, and you can buy its fresh noodles to take home and cook yourself.
