| Hampson Street in the extreme uptown part of the city is rapidly becoming a destination point for culinary adventurers. Hana sits amidst a half dozen other restaurants, each offering a unique dining experience. Housed in a pristine, split-level dining room in a folksy frame cottage, Hana fills quickly with its followers, developed from its days as a pioneer in the New Orleans sushi scene. Many of them come for the fine selection of cooked rolls, which are served in both full and half portions. Assertive seasonings and reliable freshness are the hallmarks of the sushi and sashimi, turned out by three nimble-fingered chefs.
