Happy Family Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Happy Family is a vegetarian restaurant where the “shrimp,” “duck” and “chicken” all look real, but are ingeniously molded and flavored imitations using wheat gluten, soybean protein, taro root and bean curd. Most dishes are beautifully presented and unexpectedly tasty. There are many traditional Chinese vegetable dishes as well, and the kitchen has a talent with mushrooms and sauces. A $13 “all-you-can-eat" menu lets diners explore plenty of options. (Note: Happy Family was previously located at 111 N. Atlantic Blvd., Ste. 351.)
