Popular with tourists and college kids who don’t know better, the Hard Rock heyday has come and gone. The gigantic, oscillating guitar is an eyesore to the redeveloped and historically preserved K Street corridor, and the food is mediocre at best. If you’re looking for a burger and fries or other bar food, there are plenty of other choices nearby. But if you’re looking for rock ‘n’ roll kitsch of the corporate, mass-marketed sort, then this may be your place.
