Heaven on Seven on Rush Restaurant Review: With hardwood floors, bare-top tables and counter seating, this noisy, casual joint lets it all hang out. But the atmosphere fits the food --- lively, colorful and spicy --- and the sprawling dining room often sees waits. In the event you do have to wait, know it’s not without warrant. Get into the swing of things with meal-size starters (we like the grilled andouille mounded with sweet caramelized onions atop sweet potato polenta and Creole mustard). Then, move on to the daily etouffée, jambalaya, jalapeño-cheddar corn muffins and a killer coconut-cream cake. Comfort classics like Louisiana crab cakes rate high, too. There’s no question that super-host Jimmy Bannos knows how to throw a Louisiana party --- look no further than the several hundred bottles of hot sauce on display for proof.
