| A relaxed, playful atmosphere pervades this Canton café thanks to a palette of colors chosen from the softer side of the crayon box and zany artwork hanging on the walls. But that doesn’t keep it from being serious about food and wine. The menu is ambitious---and mostly successful---with choices like pecan-crusted trout; Roman lamb sautéed with honey, grapes and feta; spicy bourbon peppercorn-crusted pork chops; and salmon in Thai yellow curry. There’s a very nice selection of wines by the glass, as well as an engaging list of well-chosen, value-priced bottles. Desserts are homemade. It’s a good place to head for a casual meal when your spirits need a lift. On Wednesday nights, a number of menu items are discounted. |
