Henry's 12th Street Tavern Restaurant Review: There isn't a more appropriate site for a brewpub than the shell of the original Blitz-Weinhard Brewery. Microbrew fans revel in setting their mugs on a refrigerated strip running along the edge of the bar. The enormous, multi-level restaurant attracts a mostly young crowd, particularly for happy hour. They enjoy the billiard room, plasma TV and Wii lounge, as well as the lengthy menu of tavern-style food that features oversize onion rings, sausage tasting plates, and burgers galore. If you’re looking for something a little different, Henry’s also offers seafood specials such crab and hazelnut mahi mahi, along with pan-Asian fare such as an ahi salad with fresh greens, plus sushi and pizza. And don't miss the Gorgonzola fries. If you're in the mood for something sweet, order the homemade ice cream sandwiches. Sunday brunch features a popular make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. Despite the party atmosphere, this is a perfectly fine place to bring children; Henry's staff greets everyone with a friendly and accommodating style.
