: Owner Scott Youkilis puts a California spin on barbecue by using smoke, wood and fire to slowly cook flavorful meats in an open kitchen. Executive chef Robin Song (Hog & Rocks) puts forth a seasonally inspired menu that changes nightly. Snacks and appetizers are light and a good way to start --- try the spiced chicharrones or the grilled summer squash. Popular dishes have included pork belly, fire roasted brassicas, a barbecue platter to share, and "Animal of the Day" specials, as well as flavorful sides to accompany the meal. Sip a libation from the satisfying cocktail program by Scott Beattie (Spoonbar, Goose & Gander) or a craft beer or spirit.
