Hillstone Restaurant Review

: Formerly Houston’s, Hillstone’s menu includes the likes of ahi tartare and an ahi burger. There’s also a limited selection of expensive, elaborate sushi rolls, and a top-end steak, a New York strip, priced comparably to some of the dry-aged steaks at Miami’s best steakhouses. Other reliable, upscale-casual favorites include good old-fashioned roast prime rib, a French dip sandwich (thinly-sliced roast beef on a roll, served au jus), burgers, Caesar salad, spinach dip, crab cakes, a fresh catch-of-the-day plus imported salmon and branzino --- never challenging, never disappointing. The wine list has been expanded, too.
