Honey Pig Restaurant Restaurant Review

: This Annandale location is the original Honey Pig Restaurant, where city chefs congregate during the early morning hours to reminisce about the day’s trials and tribulations. Of course, the acoustics may preclude an easy conversation regardless of when you drop by, but that’s just fine. The focus is on the food, and there’s plenty of it and at reasonable prices. If you are unfamiliar with octopus and pork chulpan or even how to tackle the thinly sliced pork belly, the friendly staff can step in and talk you through it. Chances are few of the dishes will have familiar tastes and textures, but that’s the fun of exploring ethnic restaurants. You might be comfortable ordering such recognizable appetizers as the seafood pancake or kimchi pancake, and then move on to the always tasty kalbi beef ribs and bulgogi, or the table-cooked spicy chicken. Besides, you can accompany your meal with a glass of San Sa Chun. Also located at 13818B Braddock Rd., Centreville, 703-830-5959.
