Hon's Wun-Tun House Restaurant Review

: Prepare to stay a while if you're intent on reading through Hon's extensive menu. Dishes are prepared in traditional restaurant-size woks in two open kitchens, one reserved solely for vegetarian preparations. For Chinese cuisine aficionados, won ton is just one among more than 90 varieties of soup available, and there's also a seemingly endless list of noodle specialties. Congee lovers will find comfort in a bowl of this home-style rice porridge with options including fish, chicken and seafood. The trademark pot stickers, fried or steamed, with a ginger-spiked dipping sauce are addictive. Desserts include sticky rice balls with red bean paste and freshly ground-black sesame cream, or opt for the candied walnuts available to nibble as you leave. In addition to tea and soft drinks, there's a tidy selection of food-friendly beers and wine.
