 Hoppe's Garden Bistro & Wine Shop Restaurant Review: Hoppe's Garden Bistro & Wine Shop was ahead of its time when it began serving wine country cuisine and showcasing farm fresh products. That’s still the focus of this Cayucos restaurant, with signature dishes such as local abalone in a delicate cream sauce, roasted duck with house-made ravioli, and seared wild salmon with wasabi mashed potatoes. For dessert, you can go over the top with a chocolate torte served with praline ice cream, or pull it back a bit with fresh sorbets. The impressive wine list is no surprise --- take full advantage of it with the dinnertime tasting menu. In back, there’s a casual version of the restaurant offering café and bakery fare. |
