Customers can get up close and personal with this restaurant's many brews since stainless steel brewery machinery is visible from the booths and customers can tour the on-site microbrewery. A variety of ales and lager-style beers are made on the premises. Hops even brews its own root beer. The food is somewhat standard, with a few surprises. The baby-back ribs are smoked in-house using a five-step cooking process. Jerk roast tenderloin is a noteworthy dish---pork tenderloin marinated with jerk seasoning and olive oil, roasted and served with a Marsala-mushroom sauce. And the Deep South Catfish is fileted, breaded and pan-fried, complemented by the very traditional cole slaw and french fries.
