THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Houlihan's Restaurant Review: Going strong since 1972, the well-known red awning attracts diners who can recite the menu backwards if you ask them. This familiarity is instant feel-good to the folks who depend on the baked potato soup, burgers and salads to be fresh and tasty. The menu has gone global over the years --- there's bruschetta now among the appetizers, and sections reserved for the flavors of Mexico and Italy, and grilled seafood and steaks. Sit in a booth or at the bar and eat wings, potato skins or fried mushrooms, complemented by a beer. Lighter options include a barbecue salmon salad; low-carb burger (sans bun); and the Asian stir-fry. Or indulge in dessert, be it caramel-topped apple pie or a classic brownie sundae. There’s good grazing during happy hour, with $5 appetizers at the bar.
