Lunching on French food just got easier for Galleria-area folks. Philippe Restaurant + Lounge is now offering four to-go lunch box specials. Available boxes include a grilled chicken salad, croque monsieur, turkey panini and a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Each box --- under $13 --- includes a pasta salad or homemade chips and a gourmet cookie. Boxes are available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; there's also a designated to-go parking spot right outside the restaurant entrance. Chef Jon Buchanan presents happy hour menu at Trevisio. Options range from $4-$6 appetizers like fried calamari and garlic-Parmesan chicken wings to $6-$8 pizzas with toppings such as pineapple and speck. The beloved Brennan’s of Houston has brought back its Kitchen Table, a popular 12-seat table that looks directly into the kitchen where chef Danny Trace and crew work their culinary magic. The table is available for dinner from 5:45 to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday (excluding holidays). To make reservations, call the restaurant at 713-522-9711. The Four Seasons Hotel Houston’s Quattro is catering to families with its new Sunday Super offerings. And you really can afford to bring the whole family: the revolving menu features three courses, served family style, for $20 per adult, $10 for kids and free for those under three. Executive chef Maurizio Ferrarese offers a choice of soup or salad, varying pasta dishes and pizzas and a choice of dessert, including ice cream, sorbets or milkshakes. Adults can order beverages from the bar or bring their own bottle with no added corkage fee.
