HOUSTON RESTAURANT NEWS

Openings

The culinary and creative guys behind Reef, one of the best seafood restaurants in the south, have opened Little Bigs, their long-awaited burger barn located in the former Ming's spot on Montrose Blvd. Chef Bryan Caswell and Bill Floyd are serving up baby burgers, beef, chicken and vegetable sliders. The fresh sliders come on yeast buns with sides of hand-cut fries and thick shakes or interesting alcoholic concoctions such as "The Dude," a white Russian milkshake, and "The Big Pink," a sangria slushy. Little Bigs, 2703 Montrose Blvd., Houston, TX 77006, 713-521-2447.
