| Replacing the trend-setting David*Greggory Restau-Lounge, this full-scale restaurant offers meals from early morning to midnight, and what you’ll find is predictably all-American bistro-bar food. The service is pleasant, the portions moderate, and the flavors right down the middle. We can recommend the chopped salad selections, with such options as grilled chicken, lump crab, New York strip, and grilled shrimp. If you want to tame your appetite, add on a hearty soup, such as the French onion replete with Gruyère and sourdough croutons. Pizza may pique your interest, too, and none are too far-out to not please the mainstream palate. More substantial entrées could mean the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and a buttermilk biscuit, but whichever dish you order, think about a side of truffle mac ‘n’ cheese. |
