| This restaurant is known for its Chinese regional offerings (Hunan, Szechwan, Mandarin and Cantonese) as well as its superbly prepared Thai specialties. Start with an appetizer such as the bon-bon chicken (coarsely ground with chili peppers and served in lettuce wraps) or the sweet and sour cabbage that's also flavorful with enough chili to make a kimchi-loving Korean jealous. Then move on to one of the green, yellow and red (as in the Panang chicken) Thai curry dishes. They stand out not because of inherently superior recipes but because of the meticulous in-house preparations. They have a depth of flavor that shows just how world-class Thai cuisine can be. The fairly-priced wine list goes beyond the usual Oriental restaurant clichés. |
