| In the heart of Arlington, this fancy-dress Chinese restaurant provides an array of daily dim sum plus predictable and solid standard Chinese cooking. In other words, it's safe to take visiting relatives who don't know much about flashy Chinese cooking. Although we are addicted to the dim sum, we enjoy several entrée items, from the shell-on baked jumbo shrimp with salt to the rice noodles, Singapore style, slightly hot and very good. Also good: the Peking duck and shredded pork in garlic sauce. This place may be as popular for its food as for its traditional Chinese décor. Expect to find Chinese lions guarding the door and several decorative screens and other items brightening the interior. |
