Hungarian Rhapsody Restaurant Review: Authentic Hungarian fare is served in a setting awash with artifacts from the Old Country, ranging from lavishly embroidered handicrafts and porcelain pieces to red pepper garlands. Steve and Darlene Szatmari know their chicken or veal paprika with house-made dumplings, stuffed cabbage and goulash well. And you'll enjoy it all in friendly fashion in the big dining room. Not familiar with the cuisine? There are American dishes on the menu as well, but it doesn't make sense to pass up the hearty Hungarian selections since they are made with such care and authenticity. Desserts are memorable also, especially the Hungarian-style crêpes or the napoleon, a smooth cream filling wrapped in light, flaky pastry. That said, we enjoy the walnut torte and fruit strudels, too.
