Huong Binh Restaurant Review: Despite the nondescript décor, sketchy service and long waits, Huong Binh is where Seattle foodies head when they want authentic Vietnamese fare. The menu includes several dishes from the city of Hue in the central region of Vietnam, among which is the favorite bun bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup). Go with a group and feast on an array of shared plates, such as banh hoi chao tom (grilled shrimp on sugar cane skewers), banh hoi (vermicelli rice noodles served with grilled skewered shrimp or pork surrounded by fresh lettuce, basil and cilantro), banh beo (a steamed rice cake topped with ground shrimp and scallions) and banh bot loc (tapioca cakes filled with pork and shrimp and sprinkled with ground shrimp). Note: The restaurant only accepts cash. |
