What happens when the drummer of a soul band (The Roots’ Questlove) and a prolific restaurateur (Stephen Starr) come together all for their love of fried chicken? The result is Hybird in the Chelsea Market. The twosome is an unlikely combo, though they are both from Philadelphia, but it matters little once you taste the juicy fowl --- the outer layers are crunchy and the inside fall-of-the-bone tender. The offerings can be a bit on the greasy side, however, they do deliver on flavor. Wash it all down with a jalapeño watermelon slushie.
