Ibiza Food & Wine Bar Restaurant Review: Charles Clark and Grant Cooper’s Midtown hot-spot is named for the resort island off the East Coast of Spain, and Ibiza Food & Wine Bar flaunts the international intrigue of its well-traveled owners. Chef Clark did a stint in Spain, while Cooper lived in Belgium for a while. With this background as their inspiration, they have created exotic yet subtle island drama with a curved wall of French doors, billowy curtains and an open kitchen. Not to be outdone by the décor is the Mediterranean menu. Starters such as Wagyu meatballs in yellow curry and roasted beets with imported Spanish goat cheese are just the beginning of a compelling meal. Relax and settle in for the evening as you choose between the pizzas or entrées like pan-seared pasta, whole fish stuffed with crab or the braised Arkansas rabbit with French mustard and pancetta.
