Ichiban Sushi Restaurant Review: We drive by here almost daily, and are always intrigued by the obvious crowds---and we joined them, only to find a diminutive interior with tables jammed together to accommodate the waiting patrons. What people come for is the sushi, practically the only item on the menu, except for a bowl of tempura or teriyaki beef. Although the fish choices are limited to tuna, eel, yellowtail, salmon, octopus and such, you'll find that the sushi chefs are generous with their portions and skilled enough to wield their blades well. We ended up with an assortment of sushi accompanied by a salad, and were happy to finally get a table. Your best bet: order carry-out! |
