Jon F. Snyder, founder of Ciao Bella and grandson of the man who brought us the Carvel chain of ice cream parlors, brings to the cusp of Chinatown and the Lower East Side an upscale ice cream shop that makes just about everyone scream. A rotating selection of one hundred homemade gelatos and sorbets are on offer. Our favorites include dark chocolate, honey lavender, mint chip, raspberry and vanilla rum.
