Illiano Cucina Mediterranea Restaurant Review: The name is different but the Lamberti quality and many of the dishes remain the same. Expect reasonably priced Italian cooking along with a menu of personal pizzas with toppings such as artichoke hearts, prosciutto and mushrooms. You can still get chicken Maximo---sautéed chicken, shallots, asparagus and mushrooms with mozzarella and a splash of marinara---or veal and shrimp sautéed with mushrooms and topped with mozzarella in a light wine sauce. Seafood, steaks, pasta dishes and specials can be topped off with tiramisu or something from an ever-changing selection of cakes. Occasionally, tartufo makes a cameo appearance. A winning children's menu makes this a good spot for families. Be ready to pay the $3 sharing charge if you want to split one of the large entrées.
