Imago
Imàgo’s panoramic views of Rome are matched by head chef Francesco Apreda’s unique modernization of Italian cuisine using Indian and Japanese influences.
Imago Restaurant Review:
Located on the 6th floor of the Hassler Roma hotel between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, Imàgo offers panoramic views of Rome. Guests can look out onto the colorful rooftops of the city center and easily see a number of notable monuments from any angle. The modern Italian cuisine of head chef Francesco Apreda uniquely adapts traditional regional dishes using Indian and Japanese culinary influences. Menus are seasonal, so depending on the time of year diners might try lavender-flavored casserole of quail and sea scallops or duck breast tandoori-style. There is an extensive list of Italian and international wines. Among a number of desserts, consider the mango and apricot cannoli complemented by chai powder and coconut sorbet.
