| Decent Indian food is rare enough in San Diego County to make a drive to this eatery in San Marcos’ Old California Restaurant Row well worth the effort. Seasonings are well defined and engaging, whether the dish is as spicy as the two-alarm lamb vindaloo or as mild as the chicken korma. Vegetarians find much to enjoy at Indian Princess, including the lovely malia kofta, vegetable balls stuffed with nuts and spice and bathed in a creamy sauce. The Tandoor oven--baked breads are wonderful. |
