India Princess Restaurant Review: Decent Indian food is rare enough in San Diego County to make a drive to this eatery in San Marcos' Old California Restaurant Row well worth the effort. Seasonings are well defined and engaging, whether the dish is as spicy as the two-alarm lamb vindaloo or as mild as the chicken korma. Vegetarians find much to enjoy here, including the malai kofta, vegetable balls stuffed with nuts and spice and bathed in a creamy sauce. We also recommend the fresh tandoor oven-baked breads. There’s a nice children’s plate, too. |
