THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS India's Rasoi Restaurant Review:

India's Rasoi moved eastward, a change in our usual restaurant migration, from is suburban storefront to one across from the county courthouse in Clayton and another outpost in the Central West End. (The Columbia, location remains.) Lunch in Clayton hops with office workers and evenings are quieter, with more students. In the CWE, evenings are date nights and for the local post-grad types. The décor is the usual white walls, Indian wall hangings and plaques, and sitar music. First courses get bicultural, like salads topped with tandoori chicken and wings (Bombayed instead of Buffaloed, we'd say), but the soups are light-textured and deep-flavored, especially if the accompanying lemon wedge is put to work. Vegetarians will be thrilled with the roasted eggplant and 10 other entrees. Balti dishes are available here, too, unlike other Indian restaurants in town, like a crab and shrimp korma that was delicately cooked and packed with new tastes. On a cold night, the masala chai is particularly satisfying, spiced tea with milk that could warm you in the Himalayas.
