India's Restaurant Restaurant Review:

In business for 25 years, this real-deal curry house serves authentic Indian cuisine. The exotically adorned dining room is accented with red cloth napkins, dramatic Indian tapestries and lanterns, and walls of windows. We usually start with the vegetarian samosas and a complimentary basket of peppery pappadums to dunk into the sweet tamarind or hot mint chutney. We recommend the chicken tikka masala, the spicy goat vindaloo and the gosht saag, a lamb and spinach curry. Additional vegetarian dishes include the vaishnav thali, a traditional platter with a variety of curries, lentils, raita, rice and roti or naan. Meanwhile, among the desserts are a creamy rice pudding, mango sherbet and chocolate cake. The beer roster is Indian-centric. Nearly all of the wines, of which there are dozens, including several Rieslings, are available by the glass. An extensive lunch buffet is offered Monday through Saturday. Service is efficient, and children are given a special menu and treated like small adults.
