THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Indigo Landing Restaurant Review:
Once the source of amazing Southern-style dishes, the restaurant and its menu have lost their edge and focus, offering such a mixture of ethnic tastes that it’s hard to figure where the chef is going. As an example, the Asian chicken wraps include chicken with jack cheese in a garlic-soy peanut sauce. The Chop House salad is a sloppy translation of an iceberg lettuce classic, and the luncheon Angus burger comes with uninteresting fries. Where are the warm biscuits with the honeyed spread? With luck, you’ll snag a window table, so you can be entertained by the waterside panorama of boaters and the DC skyline. You’ll need that diversion, for the wait between courses may be lengthy. The Sunday brunch buffet is a fine time for folks to enjoy the scene in a leisurely way.
