Indigo, a prime pre-theater dinner spot, hits the right notes with an unpretentious, airy, blue-toned dining room and a pre-theater fixed-price menu. Expect simple new American cuisine with lots of local, seasonal ingredients. Try the baby spinach salad with spiced walnuts and artisan goat cheese. Sweet corn stars in a risotto flavored with lemon thyme, pecorino cheese and baby zucchini. Mustard-crusted ahi is paired with a hearty potato and bacon hash. Those who go after the pre-theater rush can enjoy the Ultimate Wine Dinner special which offers unlimited, yes, unlimited pours of a select number of wines from the extensive wine list along with a three-course dinner for $49.
