The Inn at Thorn Hill Restaurant Review:
The Inn has updated its menu to suit the way we dine now. There’s an option to make a meal of small plates at smaller prices, or one may follow the traditional progression with full entrées. Begin with crispy shrimp over spicy udon noodles or the tortilla española, a hearty omelet with fried potatoes. Beef short rib sliders are also a good start, as is pork verde with banana leaf. If you're looking for something more classic, try the frogs’ legs burgundy and proceed to chicken piccata with risotto or crab-crusted tenderloin with sauce béarnaise and braised red cabbage. Desserts include sour cream panna cotta presented with roasted strawberries and warm brown sugar shortbread. You can go lighter with a rosewater granité, which nicely complements a warming glass of Cognac. The Inn has an extensive wine cellar with over 2,500 bottles. Have a private dinner in the tasting room surrounded by the varied selection.
