Scratch the surface, and you will find the homey, heart-warming cooking of Giovanni Varallos native Naples. The eager staff, mostly family, will guide you through unfamiliar waters, should you choose to dip into the many specials that he always has on hand. For the more timid, you could do worse than ordering from the menu, and trying the warm radicchio salad with bacon and crab meat, the fried fettuccine, or the liver, Venetian style. Whatever you choose, the welcome will be warm and the atmosphere jolly.
