Ironworks Brewery & Pub Restaurant Review:

This place has had to prove its mettle by weathering a series of ownership changes and brewer turnovers. But it's still on its feet and swinging under one more new owner. Thankfully the beer list and its original recipes are also still here. The well-made list of in-house ales includes a refreshing wheat, a chewy IPA and a caramel brown ale, among others. The brewpub also serves hooch, a highly alcoholic beyond-beer concoction they serve straight up and in various cocktails. Be careful with it. Federal workers and US Forest Service staffers come around for lunch to chow on specialty pizzas, salads and sandwiches, dinner crowds are mainly locals and nearby neighbors. Iron Wings come in various degrees of heat and make a nice custom nibble. Bar-hoppers drink the suds by the pitcher and hang loose on weekends for live local blues bands. A fine little community pub.
