 Isabella's Restaurant Review: Bright, airy Isabella’s features a menu of modern Mediterranean cuisine that has established this eatery as a West Side mainstay. With a plethora of French doors that open to Columbus Avenue, and extend the dining area to the greenery-filled sidewalk during warmer days, this space is open and inviting---fine for a weekend brunch or cozy dinner. Dishes like the seared Chilean sea bass with caramelized acorn squash, pancetta Brussels sprouts in a hard cider reduction or the filet mignon with potato croquettes, sautéed spinach and red wine demi-glaze satisfy. In addition to the friendly and attentive staff, the rattan chairs and garden-like ambience lend a peaceful vibe that makes it an oasis amid the usual city grind. |
